Direct Payment Terms & Conditions
A Direct Payment will be offered to Eligible Customers only as part of the Ford Goodwill Gesture Site. Please see the Main Website Terms & Conditions for more information about eligibility criteria and Site usage terms.
These Terms and Conditions refer to Direct Payments only, also known and referred to as (“BACs”) or (“SEPA”). Customers resident in the United Kingdom will be issued the Direct Payment via a BACs payment. Customers resident in the Republic of Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal or Finland will be issued the Direct Payment via a SEPA international payment. Customers resident in Denmark or Norway will be issued the Direct Payment via an international electronic funds transfer payment.
Direct Payments are offered only, and cheque payments cannot be offered as part of the Ford Goodwill Gesture programme.
Direct Payments will be issued to Eligible Customers by The Marketing Lounge Partnership (MLP) who are an appointed service provider on behalf of Ford. Please see the Website Privacy Policy for more information.
Eligible Customers can expect to receive their Direct Payment within 5 working days of the Goodwill Case being logged by an appointed Ford Customer Support Advisory. Direct Payments cannot be issued before this period as eligibility validation and verification checks need to be satisfied. Please note that any additional bank processing and payment clearing timeframes or delays are not the responsibility of Ford nor MLP.
For the purposes of issuing the Direct Payments, the Eligible Customer will be required to provide the Ford Customer Support Advisor at the point of the Goodwill Case being raised with their personal banking details for whom the payment is to be made to. Details provided will vary based on the Eligible Customer’s country of residence and are as follows:
For Eligible Customers residing in the United Kingdom (UK), the following details will be required in order to issue the Direct Payment:
- Accountholder Full Name
- Bank Account Number
- Sort Code
- Banking Institution
Payments will be issued in GBP only.
For Eligible Customers residing in Republic of Ireland (ROI), the following details will be required in order to issue the Direct Payment:
- Accountholder Full Name
- Bank Account Number
- Sort Code
- Banking Institution
- IBAN number
Payments will be issued in Euro’s only.
For Eligible Customers residing in France and Italy, the following details will be required in order to issue the Direct Payment:
- Accountholder Full Name
- Bank Account Number
- Bank Code
- Branch Code
- IBAN number
Payments will be issued in Euro’s only.
For Eligible Customers residing in Spain and Portugal, the following details will be required in order to issue the Direct Payment:
- Accountholder Full Name
- Bank Account Number
- Bank Code
- Branch Code
- Check/Control Digits
- IBAN number
Payments will be issued in Euro’s only.
For Eligible Customers residing in Norway, the following details will be required in order to issue the Direct Payment:
- Accountholder Full Name
- Bank Account Number
- Bank Code
- IBAN number
Payments will be issued in Norwegian Krone only.
For Eligible Customers residing in Denmark, the following details will be required in order to issue the Direct Payment:
- Accountholder Full Name
- Bank Account Number
- Bank Code
- IBAN number
Payments will be issued in Danish Krone only.
For Eligible Customers residing in Finland, the following details will be required in order to issue the Direct Payment:
- Accountholder Full Name
- Bank Account Number
- Bank Code
- IBAN number
Payments will be issued in Euro’s only.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that these details are valid and correct at the time of providing them, so that the Direct Payment can be issued. Incorrect or invalid bank account details will result in delays in Goodwill issuance. Payments cannot be retracted or rescinded once issued.
The Direct Payment will appear as ‘Ford Goodwill Payment’ on your bank statement. There is no usage expiry date enforced by MLP nor Ford once the payment has been issued. There may be some restrictions applied by your banking institution, which neither MLP nor Ford can be held liable or responsible for.
